I’m an illustrator and designer based in Missoula, Montana. I create whimsical and joyful artwork inspired by nature and fueled by humor and storytelling. I created Because Friendship as a vessel for all of my creative endeavors.

When I first started sharing my art on the internet, I was simply trying to make my friends laugh. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t. Whatever the weather, I kept going and eventually realized that there is nothing I’d rather be doing than telling stories with images.

I love drawing food, plants, and animals, and gravitate toward themes of sustainability, the outdoors, connection, and kindness. I’m always learning new skills and exploring new creative territory through both traditional and digital media.

I’m available for picture book illustration, editorial projects, and creative collaborations including custom stationery, surface pattern design, event artwork, and merch. Ideas are made better with handmade art!
